Mayor of Auckland

The Auckland Mayor leads the governing body of Auckland Council. The mayor’s job is to promote a vision for Auckland and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. The mayor appoints the deputy mayor, establishes committees for particular topics, and appoints chairs for those committees. About me

I've served on council for six years as local board deputy chair and Whau ward councillor. I am the deputy chair of the council-controlled organisation committee and have oversight of Auckland's critical infrastructure and economic development arms. Bring business experience in property investment and running my own consultancy in the UK. I'm a qualified economist and community leader.
