The Howick Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of 11 members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. three members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I am a passionate and action-focused local, bringing a unique blend of business leadership and Board governance, alongside grassroots community connection. I am running as I have seen first hand what can be achieved when the community comes together. I am passionate about joining the Howick Local Board and continue to serve the community. With over 20 years of experience in business, I am committed to using my expertise to support Pakuranga's growth and success.

About me

I am the co-founder of the Shop Local, Shop Howick Facebook group. What started as a community lifeline during COVID has since grown into one of East Auckland's most trusted digital platforms, with over 12,000 members using it to promote local businesses. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees at Shelly Park School, have previously managed football teams at Bucklands Beach AFC and have been on the committee for Howick Rhythmic Gymnastics Club.

My priorities
  1. Commit to keeping rates low.
  2. Advocate for better roading solutions to keep locals moving.
  3. Fight to keep weekly rubbish collections.
