Why I'm standing

I have lived in the Hutt City all my life and believe it to be one of the best in the world. I want to see our city thrive again with profitable businesses, clean streets and opportunities for our young to gain employment and raise families. I am a back to basics person with years of experience in the community sector and more than proven experience in listening to the residents in often trying times.

About me

My many years as a manager of an international company, a celebrant, JP and Rotarian have brought me into the homes of many thousands of people listening to all points of view on many ideas. My decision making is based on sound judgement and good leadership. I believe in working collaboratively to achieve the results that are in the best interests of all. I am approachable and committed to working and connecting our community.

My priorities
  1. Reduce the huge rates rises impacting the livelihoods of many residents of the Hutt City.
  2. Maximise the benefits of Riverlink to create job opportunities and new CBD vitality.
  3. Fix the basics in roading and footpaths to ensure the Hutt City is accessible to all.
