Why I'm standing

I have been encouraged to stand and believe I would make a good councillor. I am motivated by positive reasons, not personal gain. My only goal is to contribute to the wellbeing of the city and its people.

About me

I am a first-generation Kiwi who grew up in Tasman. I met my wife here and have lived in Stoke ever since. I work as a self-employed IT consultant and we are raising two teenage children.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates and spending under control to maintain affordability for households and businesses.
  2. Make council decisions transparent so people can clearly see how and why they are made.
  3. Take accountability for decisions and help restore trust in local government.
