Why I'm standing

I stand as a candidate to ensure that a simplistic, commonsense approach is no longer a money train or talk fest. What our community values and needs the most should be attended to in a timely, cost-effective manner.

About me

I enjoy advocating for my beliefs and hold a strong stance for the rural community knowing I can make a difference. This in turn has enhanced my knowledge base, contacts and skill sets. Enthusiasm, determination, honesty, and questioning are all attributes that get me noticed.

My priorities
  1. Investigate prior 18 months' actions, enabling informed decisions and strategic plan moving forward.
  2. Support community concerns around flood protection including river management and Section 73 of the RMA.
  3. Protect community, support local, encourage growth and explore the historic precincts potential.
