Why I'm standing

To help keep Otago thriving - we live in the best part of NZ and want to help keep it that way. The Otago Regional Council is out of control and not delivering on its purpose - we believe reform is required, which Vision Otago can achieve.

About me

Committed to Otago - I grew up in Central Otago, and was educated in Dunedin. We have been based in Wanaka for 25+ years, where we run tourism and commercial real estate businesses. Like you, I believe that we can marry the best of our surroundings with our entrepreneurial aspirations, which is what brought us all here - lifestyle and income. We can have both - an economy and protect our stunning environment.

My priorities
  1. Reduce regional rates; please see visionotago.nz for details.
  2. Implement an effective Otago Lakes Plan and establish a pest plan that measures success.
  3. Restore local democracy.
