Why I'm standing

I was born in Porirua, a city that shaped me and gave me every opportunity. As a proud Samoan, Tokelauan, Tuvaluan, and I-Kiribati, I carry the values of my culture and the heart of my community. Porirua has nurtured me, inspired me, and opened doors I never imagined. Now, I'm ready to give back—to serve, uplift, and honour the people and place that made me who I am, and help build a better future together.

About me

I am deeply rooted in my community and committed to amplifying its voice. I've served on a university board and a local trust, bringing both grassroots insight and governance experience to the table. I believe in servant leadership—working behind the scenes or out front to make a real difference. My goal is to ensure every decision reflects the needs of our people and helps build a stronger, more prosperous Porirua.

My priorities
  1. Make future-focused decisions that drive long-term impact, resilience, and community wellbeing.
  2. Boost accountability and improve communication to build trust and deliver better outcomes.
  3. Enable community-led decisions and governance shaped by those who live, work, and thrive here.
