Why I'm standing

I am running to give our communities a strong voice and restore trust in council. As deputy chair of the Malvern Community Board, I've seen how vital it is that residents are heard. My goal is simple: listen, represent fairly and deliver transparent, accountable leadership for what each community needs.

About me

I bring integrity, independence and a proven record of service to my community. As deputy chair of the Malvern Community Board, I've listened to residents, built relationships across our towns and shown I can work constructively to get results. My background in law, governance and education has equipped me with strong analytical and communication skills, while my commitment to fairness and transparency ensures I put people first and am prepared to advocate for the community.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates affordable, cut waste and ensure growth pays for growth. Rates must be sustainable.
  2. Rebuild trust in council, which must listen and act in the interests of the community.
  3. Maintain essential infrastructure so it is safe and reliable so people can connect in Selwyn.
