South Ward Community Board

The South Ward Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Hurunui District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. My priorities
  1. Support investment in safe and accessible community facilities such as parks, halls and sports grounds.
  2. Improve local infrastructure, including roads and footpaths, essential for safety and growth.
  3. Ensure strong community representation in council decisions so local voices are heard.
