Why I'm standing

I'm putting my hand up for the Community Board because I think we need someone who listens and isn't afraid to speak up. I'll work to ensure our rates deliver the quality of services and facilities we expect, I'll talk to our residents to identify and support local projects people actually want, and I'll guard against wasteful spending.

About me

I'm a mechanical engineer, have experience with projects large and small, I'm good with numbers and can think analytically.

My priorities
  1. Empower community boards without this, we can't make a difference.
  2. Support local community-led initiatives including the Tairua River Trail and Tairua information centre.
  3. Push for better council maintenance including the harbour.
