Why I'm standing

After much deliberation, convincing and arm twisting from the community, I put my name forward for the Mangakino-Pouākani ward councillor position. I am a community focused, results driven member of our community and believe "Me mahi tahi tātou mō te oranga o te katoa" ("We should work together for the wellbeing of everyone").

About me

A community member and ratepayer with a proven history of initiating and delivering many community projects and working alongside the Taupō District Council at both a grassroots and fundamental level for the benefit of the rohe. A proactive community member who listens then endeavours to make the necessary changes alongside those that make the community amazing.

My priorities
  1. Supply each household with one refuse sticker per week through the Taupō District Council, saving ratepayers $156 per year.
  2. Support kaumātua as they are the heart of the community.
  3. Look after farmers as they are not just the backbone of the community but New Zealand as a whole.
