Why I'm standing

I'm standing for election as I believe our community deserves a council that focuses on core business first – roads, infrastructure, essential services – backed by meaningful consultation and sourcing the best providers at a cost ratepayers can afford.

About me

I have had years of governance experience, currently a member of the Tuakau Community Board, previously a two-term councillor, a bean counter by trade, I am committed to fiscal prudence, transparency and making sure the community voice is heard.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that consultation is true and meaningful and that the community is being listened to.
  2. Align any rate increases with the minimum wage increase rather than the rate of inflation.
  3. Address council debt.
