Why I'm standing

I am running for the West Coast Regional Council to bring practical engineering expertise and a deep commitment to the region's resilience. I've dedicated my career to protecting communities, as seen in my work on flood mitigation and infrastructure projects. I'm standing to bring clear-headed, no-nonsense leadership that prioritises communities, makes smart use of rates and backs local businesses. My goal is to deliver results, not just talk about them.

About me

I'll be a good elected representative because I'm not just a talker—I'm a doer. I've spent 27 years as a civil engineer and project manager, dedicated to protecting the region from natural hazards. I'm known for delivering projects on time and on budget, and I'll bring that same commitment to the council table. My focus is on practical, no-nonsense leadership that puts the community and economy ahead of red tape.

My priorities
  1. Improve flood resilience to protect communities and infrastructure from natural disasters.
  2. Ensure financial responsibility by making every dollar of rates work hard for the community.
  3. Champion local businesses to ensure jobs and economic benefits stay within the West Coast.
