Why I'm standing
I want to advocate inside the next National-led Government for the people of Wellington Central. Wellington is the best city in the world, and where my heart is. I will work tirelessly to make our city more vibrant, innovative, and liveable. I believe in National's vision for fighting the cost of living, lifting all incomes, and delivering better education and healthcare. We can deliver better jobs, housing, transport, and social services.
About me
I have more than 25 years of experience working as a lawyer, public servant, diplomat, military officer, academic, and human rights expert. I want to use my experience, and everything I have learned to be an effective advocate for all voices in Wellington Central. Let's get Wellington back on track.
My priorities
- Rebuild the economy to reduce the cost of living for the people of Wellington Central.
- Fix the housing crisis and rents by growing supply and cutting the red tape.
- Build a second Mt Victoria tunnel and promote an effective bus transport system.
