Utilities and services
Councils are responsible for a wide range of utilities and services that we all rely on, from rubbish and recycling to street cleaning. Councils are currently also responsible for managing waste water, storm water and drinking water infrastructure – the ‘Three Waters’. But that may be about to change, with central government seeking to shift the delivery of Three Waters services to four new larger entities, which could borrow enough to upgrade the country’s water infrastructure.

Address the disgraceful state of water over the last 10 plus years. Recognise council has no conscience on this matter.

Deliver maintenance that exceeds customer expectations while watching the cents – smart, efficient and focused on getting the best value.
Deliver rubbish and recycling services that are cost-efficient, customer-focused and better for the environment.
Establish a world-class CCO to deliver Three Waters services that are affordable, sustainable and protected for future generations.
