I am running for election because I want to ensure Henderson–Massey has leadership that truly listens, represents and uplifts communities. I am a proud Pacific person with decades of experience working with youth, whānau and community organisations. I have seen both the strengths and challenges in our neighbourhoods. I want to bring inclusive, values-driven leadership that fosters connection, equity and sustainability so everyone has a voice and communities can thrive now and for future generations.
I will make a good elected representative because I have spent over 27 years working alongside whānau, youth and local organisations here in Henderson–Massey. I bring strong governance experience, academic insight from my Master's in Indigenous Knowledge and current PhD work, and practical skills as a coach and community leader. I know how to listen, bring people together and deliver solutions that make neighbourhoods safer, stronger and more connected.
