Why I'm standing

I've been following local politics for some time, and people keep asking me to run for council because I can take complex issues and break them down in plain English (like I'm doing on my social media channels, links are on this page). When things are explained simply, people will engage and that's something that very much needs to change.

About me

I've worked with water my entire life, in both the private and public sectors. I understand why Three Waters needs to change, and while I may not like how successive governments have gone about it, I feel we need someone who understands all things water to help navigate the massive water bills that are coming our way. I have the skill and experience, let me try and make it better for all of us.

My priorities
  1. Try to get water bills down, as over $3,000 per household by 2034 is just eye-watering.
  2. Have a good look at how to make public transport work better and more affordably.
  3. Enhance communication from council so it is in easy to understand terms anyone can understand.
