Why I'm standing

I believe that there is nothing wrong in Rotorua that cannot be fixed by all that is right in Rotorua and I want to be part of those solutions. We need to have a calm and mature debate about where Rotorua is, how we got here, and what needs to change for the future to be brighter for future generations to stay and grow in Rotorua.

About me

I have lived nearly my whole life here, I know Rotorua and its people. I have brought to council a level head, sensible, pragmatic and practical solutions to the problems presented to us over the last three years. Yet I will also fight for what is right! I don't count numbers to see which side of the argument is winning, I base my judgement on my values and vision for a better Rotorua.

My priorities
  1. Restore lakes and the CBD, achieving closure on the hard Covid years and reviving Rotorua's spirit.
  2. Rebuild trust between RDC and citizens after the broken promises by some in the last election.
  3. Reform council by continuously making services, systems and processes better.
