Why I'm standing

I am running because I want our region to thrive within its ecological limits, ensuring that economic growth does not compromise the health of our land, water and communities. I am concerned that short-term decisions risk undermining long-term wellbeing.

About me

With a masters degree in environmental policy and management, I bring a new view of how things can be done. I listen carefully, value collaboration, relationships, respect, trust and aim to make decisions guided by evidence, fairness and the principle that our actions today shape the wellbeing of future generations.

My priorities
  1. Promote wellbeing approaches and planetary boundaries frameworks within council and the community.
  2. Support programmes linking people to nature, learning and local resources for wellbeing.
  3. Embed wellbeing economics and planetary boundaries into council policies.
