Why I'm standing
A local MP to the core, I believe that when regional New Zealand is strong the country is strong. I stand as a hard working local MP who gets things done and ensures regions like Hawke's Bay where I have lived and worked all my life get the most from government and have a strong and active voice in parliament.
About me
Voting for me ensures the return of a hardworking local MP for Hawke's Bay who genuinely cares about our community and helping people who live and work here. It takes experience, action, strong working relationships across the region and in government to get things done, and I will keep doing more for Hawke's Bay on a new regional hospital, more community policing and the cyclone recovery for rebuilding resilience, housing and employment.
My priorities
- Build a new regional hospital for Hawke's Bay.
- Jobs for locals first so those who live and work here get the most from the $1 billion rebuild of Hawke's Bay.
- More community policing out across the region to help improve public safety and security.
