Tukituki electorate

Tukituki is currently held by Labour's Anna Lorck, who won comfortably with a margin of 1,590. In 2020, Labour won the greatest share of party votes in Tukituki – 48% to National's 30%. Tukituki is named after a popular trout fishing river. The electorate has existed since 1996. It was first held by Labour's Rick Barker for three terms, until it was won by National's Craig Foss in 2005. Foss retired at the 2017 election and the seat was won by National's Lawrence Yu before Labour won the seat back in 2020.
