Why I'm standing
As a current councillor, I have voiced community concerns and I want to do more to make the council work for you. Upper Hutt has been my home for 35 years and I want to protect the rivers and environment that make it so unique. I want our city to be an affordable place to live with free activities and a sense of belonging for people at every stage of life.
About me
I have experience in the running of community groups and fundraising events and understand the challenges in keeping these going. I entertain in rest homes with my guitar and value the joy that music and singing brings.
My priorities
- Follow through on cost reductions, a balanced budget and the 2026 rates review.
- Continue to advocate for NZTA funding for road improvements and pedestrian crossing maintenance.
- Keep Upper Hutt voices heard as the Government's water and RMA reforms continue.
